Catalan Championship titles at the 2025 Annecy Animation Festival and MIFA Market

For the third consecutive year, the animation features produced by Catalan Company will be exhibited at Annecy's main competition. The first-ever action feature in the region’s final Oscar nominee “Robot Dream” will premiere in 2025 after a strong performance in 2023’s final Oscar nominee “Robot Dream” and 2024’s “Rock Music.”

The gem in Annecy's Catalonian crown "Olivia and the Invisible Earthquake" this year is the first stop-motion animal produced in Catalonia, and is only the third in Spain. In the main competition of the festival, this heartfelt and socially conscious family function follows young Olivia through a world where she suddenly becomes out of sync when her single middle-class family is expelled from the Barcelona apartment. The project is currently in development and has caused a buzz. The pitch is expected to make a bold new sound in European adult animation.

This is aimed at an adult audience, this feature of Julia Horrillo Plá, an adult, following Awa, a 13-year-old girl who escaped the war on the Ivory Coast, who was intercepted on the coast of Cadiz while disguising as a boy.
