Cartel announces 20th anniversary trip to "Chroma", re-recording

The cartels may not know the ending of the story, but they certainly know how it develops. Georgia bands are preparing to celebrate one of the most precious chapters of their career: their iconic 2005 album Colorbecame a staple in popular punk at that time. Cartel will hit cities across the United States to celebrate the album and announce a re-recorded version Colorto be released on September 12.

“It’s an honor to still have the opportunity to share this with everyone who celebrates this record with us,” lead singer Pugh said in a statement. “The whole idea is to bring Color "Go into modern venues and reconcile the live versions of these songs with the recorded live versions. We hope that current fans will work harder to shock, and new fans will be able to find these songs in a modern context," Pugh said of the re-record.

New version of Color Will be re-recorded hit singles "Honest" and "Say What (Other)". As for the brand new product, Hey's Cassadee Pope on Monday is the guest singer of the new rendition of "Q&A" that closed the album.

“Thinking about doing this for more than half of us would destroy the space-time continuum,” Pug said. “It’s so cool because every time you hear a record, it keeps feeling like rebirth.”

The cartel will tour 29 times in the fall in the U.S. and Canada with the support of Henny, Landon Conrat and Macseal. Before the band begins ColorFor the 20th anniversary, they will return to the twisted tour stage to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the festival in Washington, D.C. and Long Beach, California.
