cThe Arad went to the poll today to vote with a quick election convened by Prime Minister Mark Carney, which is perhaps the most important vote in the country's history.
U.S. President Donald Trump has completely changed the game, which has launched a trade war against his country's closest allies and threatened to annex Canada and make it the "51st state."
These actions angered Canadians and helped stimulate the amazing liberals to make a comeback. Leader of the Conservative Party led by populist Pierre Polievre, he led the Liberal Party with 25 points before Justin Trudeau resigned in January, while Carney replaced him as leader.

On Election Day, Carney's liberals were almost 43% in the polls, compared with 39% in the Conservatives. Liberals really like to win the most seats in parliament.
This is the 2025 Canadian election you need to know.
How does the Canadian election work?
The election was called by Carney on March 23, and he was sworn in as Liberal leader after Trudeau's resignation, so the prime minister called it for a week.
The first polls have been held in Newfoundland, the easternmost province of Canada, and the polls in other provinces will be opened later, which is intertwined by time. Last poll in British Columbia ends at 10 p.m. ET
Canadians will vote for a candidate in their federal “cycling” or regional parties. Whichever candidate gets the most votes on the ride will become a member of the House of Commons (MP), and the party with the most members wins the election.
The Liberal Party currently has a minority government with 153 seats, with 120 Conservatives, followed by separatist Québécois, 33, socially democratic New Democrats, 25, and the Green Party with two independent members of Congress.
What do Canadians say about Trump?
Trump's dealings with Canada have angered many, and sports fans booed the American national anthem and Canadians boycotted American goods.
Carney, who did not hold an elected position before becoming prime minister, took a firm attitude towards Trump. In his first speech, he said: "We will never be part of America in any form or form."
He recently revealed that Trump raised the 51st state question in his recent conversation on March 28. “The president has been making this point,” Carney added.
Carney has been speaking out about his way of tariffs on the United States. The former central banker responded with a promise of retaliatory tariffs after President Trump announced global tariffs on April 2 or Liberation Day.
Poilievre aimed at Carney's attitude toward Trump and the tariffs, believing that even other countries can't get relief.
But an Ipsos survey shows that more Canadians think Carney can better deal with Trump and tariffs. Liberals also strive to portray Poilievre as a nationalism of the Canadian revival as a “Maple Magazine” and “Trump-inspired” figure.

When can we expect the results of the Canadian election?
Once every province and territory has been surveyed, the counting of votes begins. If there are a large number of votes, you can count the votes before the vote. This year, it received a record 7 million votes before Election Day.
Quebec and Ontario polls should be closed early after 9:30 p.m. ET. These provinces are home to most people in Canada and are a good example of how demographics and cycling votes are different across the country.
The CBC usually declares the winner on election night based on the results of the Canadian election. But a close match could mean that it will take more time to determine whether Canadians choose a minority or a majority.
What are the polls talking about?
At the beginning of this year, the Conservatives will win the election for the first time since 2011. Support for the Conservative Party has been steadily rising since June 2023, a global wave of anti-business and anger at the cost of living crisis.
The CBC poll shows that despite reaching 20% at the low in early January, the Liberals are now in line with their goal of winning the election. Most of this climb was sacrificed by the left-leaning New Democratic Party (NDP), which dropped by about 11 points during the same period.
CBC will expect 161-204 seats for the Liberal Party. The Conservatives are expected to have 111-146 seats, with Québécois having a seat between 19-26 and a championship between 3-15. The economist's election model has allowed liberals to gain 72 out of 100 opportunities to win a majority in parliament, which is equivalent to more than 170 seats.
