Bucks announce Damian Lillard as fears Achilles tear

The Milwaukee Bucks hit the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 of the NBA first-round series on Sunday.

The Bucks desperately need a victory after the Bucks won their third home win on Friday to lower Indiana’s series deficit to 2-1.

However, Milwaukee needs to fight Damian Lillard’s Game 4 Pacers in Game 4, as nine All-Star games were injured early in the game.

Lillard, in his opinion, got up slowly after falling to the floor in the first quarter after his foot injury. When he heads to the locker room, the team’s coaching staff and teammates must get his help. Lillard also has a hard time putting weight on his feet.

Soon after, the Bucks announced Lillard's game status. The team revealed via social media that the 34-year-old point guard will not be able to return to the game after being diagnosed with a low left leg.

Unfortunately, this seems to be a serious injury to Lillard. NBA insider Chris Haynes reported that the seven-time all-NBA guard was worried about being torn by Left Killie.

It was a horrible event for the Bucks and now they may lose Lillard for the rest of the playoffs. He will be tested in the next few hours, and depending on the level of injury, it is very likely that he will miss a big part of the 2025-26 season, too.

It is worth noting that Lillard has just recently returned from his Mavericks’ blood clot problem. This forced the 6-foot-2 point guard to miss the last 14 games of the regular season, and the first game of the first playoff game against the Pacers.

With Lillard's out, Giannis Antetokounmpo will be forced to take on most of the Bucks' burden on Sunday's game and possibly overtake the Bucks.
