Bruce Springsteen releases new EP including Trump comments

If you're even a little curious about Donald Trump's recent anger at Lil ol'Bruce Springsteen, listen to the artist's newly released EP, The Land of Hope - Live recording from Manchester, UK earlier this month. If you want to know the controversy, you don't even have to listen to Springsteen's music. Just play "Hope and Dreamland (Introduction)" and "My Ruins City (Introduction)" below.

Of course, streaming songs are great, especially if you like Bruce Springsteen (which Donald Trump obviously doesn't like).

Springsteen elaborates on his philosophy in his introduction to "Where to Hope and Dreams", telling the British that the E Street band will summon the power of rock during "dangerous times." "In my home, the United States I love, the beacon of hope and freedom that I wrote about 250 years is currently in the hands of corrupt, incompetent and treasonable governments," he said. "Tonight, we ask everyone who believes in democracy and the best experience in our America, rise with us, raise your voice against authoritarianism and cheer up freedom." Very good, right? After that, you get seven minutes wrecking ball song.

And he didn't stop there. On a piano line, the piano line is passionate and exciting, Springsteen waxes it in the introduction Rising "My ruined city," he said. "There are some very strange, strange and dangerous shit now." "In the United States, they are persecuting people to use freedom of speech and the right to express dissent. This is happening now. In the United States, the richest people are satisfied when they give up the world's poorest children's illness and death. This is happening. This is happening.

"In my country, they are filled with sadistic pleasures in the pain they exert on faithful American workers," he continued. "They are retreating from historic civil rights legislation, which has led to a more just and diverse society. They have abandoned our great allies and are next to dictators against those struggling for their freedom." He went on to outline how the Trump administration targeted colleges and expelled American citizens. "It's all happening now," he reiterated, and he also provided an optimistic note saying he believed the United States would survive at this moment. I don't like anything, right?

and The Land of Hope EP, Springsteen refused to back off. Trump threatened to conduct a "major investigation" into Springsteen and abused the cap lock button on his phone, writing that Springsteen "should shut up." (Trump also claimed that it was illegal for Kamala Harris' campaign to pay Springsteen's production company $76,000 during the 2024 election, but that's not the case.

Apparently, by releasing a recording, Springsteen’s message, when the controversy began, was loud, clear, and perfectly illustrated, and he wished his opinion of Trump. He also offers some great songs, including the cover of Bob Dylan, which can be used with it-it's available for play now.
