Last weekend, the poor second half gave the Reds a two-goal lead against Arsenal at Anfield.

Then, after Yasin Ayari released Georginio Rutter's Yasin Ayari pass, the visitors almost doubled their advantage. The former Leeds attacker is struggling to score but is thwarted by Caoimhin Kelleher. Brighton continues to pose a threat in the transition, and Cadiglu should have hit the target in the volley of the back.
After the break, the Reds improved a lot, and Joe Gomez turned down the honorable opportunity to open his own account in senior football. His free header comfortably drove into Verbruggen's palm. Alexis Mac Allister then almost returned to the bent header, the former employer who plagued his former employer, but the goalkeeper responded wisely.
