Ecuador knew that victory would put them on the brink of qualification and was crowded with crowds on the Estadio monument in Guayaquil.
But the home team was hit before the kickoff when goalkeeper Hernan Galindez suffered muscle pressure in warm-ups and replacement Gonzalo Valle.
If Valle had any tension, they could feel nervous when they were able to pull a shot from Jr. Vinicius' box, which was set up by Gerson after the turnover.
In a game where neither side can control the midfield, there is a possibility of being restricted.
After resting with Ecuador, the pattern continued, missing the injured forward and Enner Valencia in an effort to pose a threat.

He added: "He doesn't have time to show his work, his game plan, because he only has two or three days of training."
The match entered the game with midfielder MatÃas Galarza, who was only 13 minutes into the game, while Julio Enciso's free throw won Paraguay's later penalty, a major victory against the exhausted Uruguay.
The victory has secured Paraguay's fringe for the first time since winning the South African final in 2010.
Tuesday's victory against Brazil's Sao Paulo will ensure their position in the game.
