Prime Video's "The Boys" invites 'awarded' director Adam Bourke (played by PJ Byrne) to debut a new masterclass-style "Super Class" as part of the show's Season 5 Emmy Fyc campaign. The new clip, transformed from a dirty film director to acting Professor Burke at Gorkin University (like "Gen V"), is described as a "Superhero Guide to Awards Season Agent Guide" designed to help Supes get family regulations on Emmy Nights. Scroll down to watch.
Bourke began to emphasize that “playing a role is more important than playing a role” and continued to direct the Supers and continued to direct the SUPES in the hope of finding and avoiding what types. The “Seven Dawns” director suggested that Supes look for period works because they are full of “penetration in triggers” followed by a pointer about how to be convincing in a sex scene.
He then proceeds to “high drama” and points out that the dragon is “cheesy hell” but “hitting his sister into the dragon” is “a grand prize.” For Superes who want to participate in a prestige cooking TV show, Bourke advises: “If you’re going to snap up pea shoots and place rose petals with tweezers, be prepared for a speech because we want to hear your good ideas about immigration.”
Then, Bourke deals with the zombies: "If they provide you with (one), it's a hard pass unless there's a random visceral gay plot because it's obviously an eighth gay that's gay. It's gay with me and the college's gay."
He ended his superclass with the most important rules of the FYC season: never doing superhero performances. “You might think that surprising characters will make a difference with subtle performances or insightful comments, but that doesn’t matter.”
According to Prime video, "Bourke is the sarcastic answer to Hollywood's most notorious director - once encountered a big sum of money on Vought, now falling into teaching in the teaching of allegations of misconduct, derailing his career. He was both a punch and a sharp comment on the unchecked Egeck Egos, and an abuse of power."
