The plane flew a banner that read "No boy in girls' sports!" The internet burned Friday at the California Track and Field Championships at the Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis.
The exhibition was organized by Women’s Outreach, Women Are Real, an independent committee of the Women’s Sports Commission (Icons), which has sparked a strong response in the national controversy over trans athlete AB Hernandez’s participation in the women’s competition.

Hernandez continued to finish first in the long jump, triple jump and high jump, beating all the female competitors and will now compete for the state championship in Saturday's final.
However, due to the recent CIF rules, girls who usually get a spot in Saturday's finals will be eligible because Hernandez has a place.

The CIF has made these rules changes amid massive backlash, threats from President Donald Trump to cut federal funds and investigations against the state.

According to Sergeant Chris Hutchison, the man was arrested for attacking and obstructing police.

Aggressors on both sides will return to the veteran’s Memorial Stadium on Saturday for the final round as Hernandez hopes to end the dominant and controversial playoffs with a fierce national focus.
