FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino shared a detailed update on the bureau’s business on Saturday, and made it clear that the agency focused on dismissing criminals and protecting children.
In posts on xBongino outlined several priorities and targeted his alleged misleading media coverage of the FBI’s work.
"The labor force has been working overtime to remove dangerous illegal foreigners from the country. This work continues," Bongino wrote. "If you come here illegally to prey on our citizens, your days will be numbered."
He said these operations are just starting out and will increase in the next few weeks.

“After taking the oath-taking ceremony as deputy director of the FBI, Dan Bongino paid tribute to the wall of honor, respecting the brave members of #FBI, who made the ultimate sacrifice and reflect on the legacy of those who paved the way for justice and security,” the FBI said in an article on x. ” (x on @fbi)
"These demolition and imprisonment operations will be combined with the government's laser focus when closing the borders, which will greatly change the country's crime sites," he added.
Bongino also pointed to a new initiative aimed at protecting children from predators.
"Crime against children is a priority for the workforce. 'Restoring Justice Action', we locked child predators, and in every region of the country, there are 764 subjects just starting out," he said. "If you take away the innocence of your child, we will enjoy your freedom."
He promised more law enforcement efforts and warned those targeting children to “think twice before doing”.

Bongino talked about the FBI's response to Congress and the public's efforts to several high-profile cases. These include attacks on Rep. Steve Scalise, Nashville school shooting, Crossfire Hurricane Investigation and the Origin of Covid-19. He also mentioned the ongoing work of the Justice Department in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
“We are dealing with a lot of downloaded child sexual abuse material,” he wrote. “There are also victim statements that have the right to specific protection. We need to do this correctly, but I do understand the public’s desire to obtain information.”
He also answered the false stories he said spread in the media and defended FBI Director Patel.
"He spent 10 to 12 hours in the office attending meetings with everyone, from foreign law enforcement to our counter-terrorism team," Bongino wrote. "Otherwise any assertion is a verifiable lie designed to stop our reforms and undermine your trust. I'll die on this mountain. You're obviously lying by someone with an agenda, and that's not your agenda."
He thanked the public for their attention and encouraged Americans to continue to observe the FBI's progress.
He wrote: “God bless America, and all those who defend her.”
Dan Bongino began his law enforcement career with the New York Police Department in 1995. He joined the U.S. Secret Service in 1999 and later at George W. Bush.

After leaving administration services, Bongino served as a Republican in Maryland and Florida. Bongino also held a Saturday night show on Fox News from 2021 to 2023.
He is the author of several books, including “Life in the Bubble,” a memoir about his work in the Secret Service.
The FBI did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
