Users had so little hope that TikTok would get a Supreme Court pardon before the ban went into effect that they thought Dylan might be the savior they'd been waiting for to save the app.
There is a scene in it Completely unknown Bob Dylan arrived late to the party and left shortly after arriving. This biopic seems to really capture his true essence, as he essentially just did the same thing to TikTok. The short-form video platform is expected to be banned in the United States as soon as Sunday, but it appears Dylan has just activated his account on the app.
“Explore the world of Bob Dylan, now on TikTok,” the caption of his first post read. The video brings together moments from the 83-year-old musician's life, titled "Like a Rolling Stone." The account already has over 10,000 followers. But the comments had warned Dylan that the fun wouldn't last long. "You have 30 minutes," one popular comment read, while another noted: "Bob TikTok is knocking on heaven's door."
Some other users have so little hope that TikTok might get a Supreme Court pardon before the ban goes into effect that they think Dylan might be the savior they've been waiting for. One user wrote: "Bob Dylan saved TikTok." Another user urged: "Bob, you have money, please buy TikTok or something." Some suggested he learn Mandarin and join RedNote, hundreds of thousands of TikTok users are migrating to the app to resolve scrolling issues.
Dylan may have to wait until RedNote becomes popular before he's interested in using it. He seems to prefer his social media apps to be down to earth. Last year, as Elon Musk was dismantling Twitter and restructuring it into the inefficient, bot-filled X, the music legend suddenly became an avid user. "Happy birthday Mary Jo! See you in Frankfurt," he posted in September. Who is Mary Jo? Damn if we knew.
Another post by Multiple book publishers. I tried to find Crystal Lake Press so I could congratulate them on publishing one of my favorite books, Pan, and I thought they might be interested in some of my stories. Unfortunately, it was too crowded. , I couldn’t find them.”
Unfortunately, Dylan jumped on board the TikTok train when it went off the rails. He'll love the "finger down" storytelling trend.
