Blanchard beats Tuttle to get 4A title

Beau Daily got back the third home run and decided to do it.

Blanchard sophomore has seen throws from Tuttle senior shortstop Brady McAdoo to junior high first baseman Hudson Heathco, which is not a special goal, and the game and two situations in the game are two outs, knowing the importance of running every day.

He was busy with home plate every day and was stopped to die on his track as Heathco threw distance at sophomore catcher Dakotah Mallory.

The game should have ended, but every Japan could start at that time.

"Go home and throw a little hit and defeat me," pinching the runner every day. “I did a little swimming.”

Surprisingly, the daily move paid off and he avoided the label.

It turned out to be a game to win the game as the highest ranked Blanchard defeated No. 3 Tuttle 9-8 in the Class 4A State Championship Game at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on Saturday.

This is the third time in the past three years that Blanchard (35-1) and Tuttle (34-8) have encountered in the championship game.

All of these showdowns are determined by a run. Blanchard won in 2022, while Tuttle won the championship in 2023.

This time the Lions did it, ensuring their sixth championship.

"When Blanchard and Tuttle went to the finals, I wouldn't expect anything," said Blanchard coach Josh Raney. "If you've been watching history since I've been there, they're all a game of innings. ... I wouldn't expect it except it until the end."

Blanchard led 5-0 at the end of the second inning, but Tuttle scored three points in the third inning.

Tuttle fell 8-4 to sixth place, but ran four times. Junior Hunter Watson was hit by a court and the base was filled, and senior Easton Green opened the car with two elimination doubles before trying to advance to third.

The sixth run every day after a grounder at Junior Camden Hall.

Sophomore Wyatt Pendergraph gained savings after shutting Tuttle out for the seventh time, although Tuttle junior JJ Johnson reached third base after a singles game, which made the more interesting ending.

Senior Gage Ellison threw the first six innings for Blanchard and allowed seven hits and eight runs, although only four innings.

Meanwhile, Blanchard's seniors, Brayson Carter and Jaxson, heard that everyone had a great time on the plate.

Carter scored four runs with 4-4 and scored two RBIs, while Heard finished four with 4 runs with four runs.

"That's what you expect from Dudes, Leadoff (Carter) and your four holes (Heard)," Raney said. "You're just showing up, and that moment isn't big.

This is Blanchard's fourth straight title.

For Carter, the last one is special.

He is an outstanding football player who played catcher and defensive back for the Lions, and he was named Oklahoma State's 2024 All-City Defensive Player of the Year and will continue his career with the Empolia State Football program.

"We're not surprised by any ups and downs," Carter said. "We kind of know what to do. We want to be here. Here for the fourth year in a row, you know what expectations are, we just have to go and take it."
