Bill Maher told Gov. Whitmer not to be ashamed of meeting President Trump.

HBO host Bill Maher defended D-Mich among the liberals on Friday. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has slammed her in recent weeks for meeting with President Donald Trump.

The comedian also suggested that Whitmer "own" a meeting with Trump rather than being upset with them, telling her a page from meeting with the president in March.

"What I want to say is - I was trying to help her the week before - like a talk show host did when you met," he said, pointing at himself.

Maher raised the topic while speaking with former Republican spokesman Kevin McCarthy in a "real-time" panel with former Republican spokesman and former Republican spokesman.

They pointed out how Whitmer criticized the party members for meeting Trump twice - she clashed with her during her tenure as governor. Whitmer visited Trump in the Oval Office on April 9 to talk to him about her state’s help, even though photos of her face hiding in the media spread during the meeting.

The photo has aroused the anger of some liberals who lashed out at her meeting with Trump. Conservatives also temporarily criticized her, showing that she is not safe in working with the president.

Whitmer also appeared with Trump at an event at U.S. Air Force Base in Michigan last Tuesday, who praised her for her "excellent work" as governor and called her "very good person", which stood out significantly, with his usual criticism of Democratic lawmakers.

Again, progressives criticized Whitmer for appearing to work with Trump rather than condemn him.

Maher admitted on "real-time" that it seemed like Trump was trying to get her into trouble on the left, but insisted that it was OK for Whitmer to build a constructive relationship with Trump.

"This week - Trump F ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maher added: "He called her and she didn't expect it, and then they got pictures of her hugging him or smiling with him... Now she is the greatest monster in history."

He then advised her to accept a meeting with Trump, like in late March, before defending her own liberals.

The host said: "When you meet the president, it doesn't matter. He is the president."

McCarthy agreed: "That should be true." "This is simply not bad."

"Other places, our country should not sit down with people from two different political parties (the end of the election) and work to solve problems, especially the president and the governor," he added.
