Julian Edelman participated in Jordon Hudson’s defense on Wednesday as interviews with Bill Belichick exacerbated the scrutiny.
The former New England Patriots star, wide receiver, said critics had a "unfair" description of what happened during Belichick's interview with CBS.
In this section, Berichick is asked how he and Hudson met, and she interjected from the side, closing the question.

The interview is a new book for Belichick, which describes his 24-year-old girlfriend as his "creative muse."
"It's an unfair reality that people are attending this conversation in interviews," Edelman said in the "dudes on the dudes oon the dudes" podcast.
“As far as I know, Jordan is playing Berj’s role, handling all the football actions, handling a lot of his social activities, a lot of PR.
"When you look at this, you say, 'It's his girlfriend jumping in,' I think it's unfair. I think she's actually working with Coach Berichick in the professional world and she might go and say, 'Hey, no, we're not."
Hudson's interruption was the only one that aired. TMZ Sports reported earlier this week that she had delayed the interview for 30 minutes at one point.
Belichick broke the silence in Wednesday's collapse, defending his girlfriend and accusing CBS of creating "false narratives" with "selective editing" clips.

North Carolina should consider staying in touch with Bill Belichick, former Royals defender says
"Unfortunately, this expectation was not fulfilled in the interview. I was surprised when I introduced irrelevant topics and I repeatedly told reporter Tony Dokoupil and the producer that I would rather keep the conversation in the book."
"After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help focus the discussion. She was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track. Some of the clips make it appears as though we were avoiding the question of how we met, but we have been open about the fact that Jordon and I met on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021.
"The last eight-minute section did not reflect the 35-minute productive 35-minute conversation we had, which covered a wide range of topics related to my career. Instead, it proposed selectively edited clips and stills from a few minutes of interviews to suggest a false narrative - Jordon's attempt to control the conversation - which is totally incorrect."

"It was an extensive interview when we agreed to talk to Mr. Belichick," the company said. "There was no prerequisite or limitation of this conversation. His publisher repeatedly confirmed this before and after the interview was completed."
