In a podcast interview, King makes a voice in Belichick’s disastrous public relations campaign.

He said in the sports media with Richard Deitsch: "This is a guy who owns every room he once walked through, and now he has a 24-year-old Muse telling him what to do or try to control the situation, frankly, she said in the sports media with Richard Deitsch. "Bill has to take control of himself here. He has to take control of this situation. It's embarrassing. It's totally embarrassing for someone as good as him."

King added that to make Belichick interview, like he did with CBS, he had to be more interesting and contrary to the media figures he coached New England Patrots.

"Bill Belichick promotes a book that lasts a long time on TV on Sunday morning, like 10 minutes, but there is a sweatshirt on TV on Sunday morning with a hole hanging on it. Watch it video," King continued. I think he was wearing a perfectly tailored blue suit in New York? Why? Why he was going to a national TV show, he was on Foxbor's press conference, he was on New York, he was on New York, he was on New York, he was on New York, he was on New York, he was on New York, he was on a hotel for the first time, he was on a hotel, he was on a hotel, why was he going to a hotel? place. . . .

"But overall, if you're promoting a book or having an interview, you can't be a slutty, selfless person to CBS. At that time, you shouldn't be. Why do you do that?"

Kim said anyone who has read CBS interviews may not be too eager to buy the books he promotes.

Belichick broke the silence in Wednesday's collapse, defending his girlfriend and accusing CBS of creating "false narratives" with "selective editing" clips.

"Unfortunately, this expectation was not fulfilled in the interview. I was surprised when I introduced irrelevant topics and I repeatedly told reporter Tony Dokoupil and the producer that I would rather keep the conversation in the book."

"After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help focus the discussion. She was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track. Some of the clips make it appears as though we were avoiding the question of how we met, but we have been open about the fact that Jordon and I met on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021.

"The last eight-minute section did not reflect the 35-minute productive 35-minute conversation we had, which covered a wide range of topics related to my career. Instead, it proposed selectively edited clips and stills from a few minutes of interviews to suggest a false narrative - Jordon's attempt to control the conversation - which is totally incorrect."

CBS later responded to its statement.

"It was an extensive interview when we agreed to talk to Mr. Belichick," the company said. "There was no prerequisite or limitation of this conversation. His publisher repeatedly confirmed this before and after the interview was completed."
