Ulta Beauty has announced its official partnership with Beyoncé’s long-awaited “Cowboy Carter” tour, which began Monday with a three-hour exhibition at the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles.
The partnership will provide exclusive access to Beyoncé’s beauty brand, including the recently launched Cecred Haircare and is inspired by the theme of the tour in Ulta Beauty.
On Monday, April 28, beauty retailers unveiled seven unique beauty looks that correspond to the specific cities Beyonce visited. The appearance developed in collaboration with local beauty influencers will be displayed on stores, online and social media platforms. These cities include Los Angeles, Chicago, East Rutherford, Houston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Las Vegas.
In addition to being subject to an urban-style look, Ulta will also offer a wide range of makeup, skin care and hair care products, including Beyoncé’s newly launched Cécred range. It is worth noting that this partnership marks the purchase of Beyoncé’s perfume Cé Lumiére at brick-and-mortar retail locations, with limited quantities available on Select Ulta Beauty Stores and Online.
Fans can also attend a live masterclass led by Ulta Beauty Pro Artists, scheduled for May 7 in Los Angeles and May 21 in New York City. For those who can’t attend in person, the Ulta Beauty App’s GlamLab feature will provide a virtual try-out experience, allowing users to travel-inspired appearance from anywhere.
“Ulta Beauty sits at the intersection of beauty, culture and self-expression – there is no greater cultural power this summer than Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” journey,” Kelly Mahoney, chief marketing officer at Ulta Beauty, said in a statement. “From makeup and skin care to hair and perfume, beauty is the way fans appear temporarily, and we are honored to be their destination for turning inspiration into expressions.”
The “Cowboy Carter” tour will begin in Los Angeles on April 28 and end in Paradise in Nevada on July 26. Tickets are currently available at resale locations such as Stubhub, vivid seats, Seatgeek and Ticketmaster.
