Best-selling German writer finds murdered on her boathouse

A best-selling German writer was found murdered on her boathouse while police searched for the suspect responsible for her death.

Hamburg police said a 58-year-old woman was later identified by her guardian as best-selling novelist Alexandra Fröhlich, whose relative was found lifeless on a boathouse Tuesday morning.

According to police, one of Fofridge's three sons found her body. Authorities believe she died between midnight and 5.30 a.m.

After investigators looked at the evidence, authorities said they now believe Frishiridge “dead of violence.”

"Investigators are currently investigating possible suspects. However, given the ongoing investigation, additional details are not available at this time," the police shared in a press release.

According to German media NDR, police believe Fröhlich was killed by "massive violence" and shot.

Media reports said Fröhlich lives on a boathouse in Holzhafenufer, in the Moorfleet area of ​​Hamburg.
