chicago bears Quarterback Caleb Williams says he's "angry" that he believes Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson has accepted the Bears' head coaching job after being pranked by several kids.
Williams goes viral This week, a video emerged showing a group of young children texting Johnson on his behalf.
The rookie quarterback believed the kids' idea, immediately placed a FaceTime call, and the prank was revealed.

Williams seemed to laugh off the encounter on the phone, but during an appearance on the "Saint Brown" podcast Lions wide receiver Ammon-Ra St. Brown, He revealed how frustrated he was after the prank.

"I kept getting text messages that night. Apparently I was getting spam calls from all my friends, like, 'No way,'" Williams recalled. "I didn't respond to a text message. I'm angry. Angry!"
Williams said he knew the children were filming and was "trying not to get mad," but when he hung up the phone, that was a different story.
"When I hung up the phone, I was angry. I wanted to smash something. I was angry," he said with a laugh.

Williams doesn't know how they got his number, which he claims has been in use for at least 15 years.
"The text was so formal. Like the texts I got from college coaches and other coaches before I got drafted ... it seemed professional," Williams said, adding that he has Changed his phone number.
"I don't know. I've had this number for like 15 years. I don't have it anymore. New number. But I've had it for 15 years, so. I don't know. Someone must have said something, Or maybe he was lucky and just called the number."

Although Williams reacted immediately to the prank, he did give the young fans some credit.
"I'm not going to lie. It's a classic prank. It's a Class A, Class S prank. I have to give them props. I'm not locked in at the moment."
