Barcelona midfielder Pedri urged Uefa to investigate the referee performance of the tragic 4-3 Champions League semi-finals in San Siro on Tuesday.
Raphinha's 87th minute championship seemed to have Barça won the first final in his first final since 2015, but both Francesco Acerbi and Davide Frattesi's overtime strikes received late equalization goals, which gave Inter Inter a 4-3 win in the 7-6 spot that night.
"This is not the first time we are refereeing on us," Pedri told reporters after the game.
"Every 50-50 is for them... there are some things I don't know, and what are difficult to explain."
Asked what was difficult to understand, he added: "In the fine against Yamal, which was a free kick, there was no (Henrikh) Mkhitaryan reservation, which was his second reservation."
Inter midfielder Mkhitaryan was warned on Yamal, his first yellow card.
Szymon Marciniak of Polish official held a review of the World Cup final in 2022, where he was responsible for the match. He was still the referee when Barça and Inter scored 3-3 in the 2022 Champions League group stage, which effectively eliminated Barça.
Meanwhile, the VAR officials of the competition are Dutch duo Pol van Boekel and Dennis Higler, who also performed VAR duties in San Siro in 2022.
The match ended 1-0 with Inter's favor, Barça's decision to rule out ANSU FATI handball that decided to rule out Pedri's goal, and there was no fine when Denzel Dumfries handled it.
Marciniak actually made two major calls to Barcelona during two major calls on Tuesday, not a fine in Lautaro Martínez's challenge against Lautaro Martínez and gave Mkhitaryan a foul on Yamal, just letting var intervene.
"I've been to the stadium in Inter Milan three times and what always happens will never go," defender Eric García told Movistar.
"We all know what happened to us last time we came here (referee). It's not an excuse because we've admitted seven goals, but..."
It is not clear what decisions Barcelona thinks should take. At the time, they also called on Acerbi for potential handball, claiming that Gerard Martín was fouled in Inter's late equalizer and complaining that officials were too lenient to some of Yamal's treatment.
"I think there are some decisions that are 50-50, but that's always for Inter, but that's it."
“We have to accept that it’s football. We can be proud of our performance. Sometimes, you feel a little unfair.
“Some of the decisions the referees made may not be around us, but we have to accept it. We will start winning the Champions League again next season. This is one of our goals.
"Maybe I've had too much (sayed) too much to referees, so I would like to congratulate the International Front, they did a great job in both games and wish you good luck in the final."
Barcelona must quickly open the failed page. On Sunday, Laliga leader hosted Real Madrid, with the chance to top their Clásico rivals, with only three games to take a seven-point lead on the table.
Yamal promises that Barcelona's supporters will not stop until they win the Champions League, but says all the focus is now on Madrid's visit to Sunday.
After the game, he posted on social media: “We won’t stop until we put this club in the highest place.”
“I will deliver on my promise and bring (Champions League) to Barcelona. We won’t stop until we achieve that. We have all given us a year this year, but that’s not. But we will be back – no doubt.
“Now we have another final on Sunday and we need to be together.”
