He said he thought his father, Amar, had always wanted to please him. He told the judge, in general: “I want to prove that I am committed to him.”

Haris Aït-Khedache, a 39-year-old bus driver, is known as the role witness of his father. He talked about his father's role in the robbery: "He made a mistake. I think I was in a situation where there was no choice." He said his father said the victim "must have been traumatized" and he "repents".
