In the summer heat, Cheryl Holsonbake found herself driving for two hours from her home to rural Kern County, California, where she “naked hands” searched any land that looked like a shallow grave.

The patriarch searches for the child's answers with two other mothers.

"We picked up the shovel and searched for my son there," Holsonbeck recalled. "I think if I could only search with my own hands and find him, I could take him home. I could take him back to his family. That's what we're going to do on the weekend."

"People sent us messages when they weren't talking to detectives," she shared. "They have sent us what they thought was a clue. We have turned on our phones before and took pictures of human remains. 'Does this look like it might be part of your son?" Who's living?

Holsonbake is one of the mothers of "Bakersfield 3". It represents three cases of entanglement with each other. The pursuit of answers is being explored in the new investigation discovery (ID) premiered on Sunday's "Bakersfield 3: The Murder and the Mother". Fox News Digital contacted Kern County Sheriff's office for comment.

"One of my son's favorite shows when he was a kid was 'The America wants the most,' and showed where they were looking for the missing - he loved them," Holsonbeck said. "As long as people listen to the story, we'll tell it. It brings information to our detectives."

According to Marie Claire, Micah Holsonbake's service was shortened by surgery in the spring of 2003 to eliminate benign growth in the throat. (Investigation found)

The tragedy began in March 2018 when Holsonbake's 34-year-old son, Micah Holsonbake, disappeared. He disappeared along with Jane Parrent's then 20-year-old daughter Baylee Despot. Then, in April 2018, Diane "Di" Byrne's 38-year-old son, James Kulstad, was shot dead in his car. He shared a social circle with Mika and Bailey.

Holsonbeck said it was Byrne who died in 2024 after fighting ovarian cancer that he realized the cases might have been linked.

Holsonbeck recalled: "She called me blue and said, 'I heard your son was missing. My son was murdered. They knew each other.' "I don't know." ”

About two to three weeks later, Bailey disappeared. Holson Buck realizes that her son knows her. Her husband discovered Baylee was missing posters and texted the listed phone numbers. It's her mother.

"He told Jane, 'You don't know me, but I think our son and daughter know each other,'" Holsonbeck said. "And we're united."

Parrent still vividly remembers the last time she met Baylee.

"I hugged quickly in front of Matthew Queen's house," she told Fox News Digital in tears. "I just hope the hugs are tighter. But in hindsight, you never know what will happen. But the last day, I saw her, touched her, smelled her, heard her."

During the last few months, the kids were experiencing personal struggles. Marie Claire reports that James was once obsessed with surfing and was addicted to drugs after being hit by a car in 2007 and turned on opioids.

According to media reports, Micah enlisted after 9/11 and later became a stockbroker, and he was also addicted to drugs after the operation. Bailey was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and survived the overdose. She also suffered domestic violence in her previous relationships.

"He called me and asked for money," she said. "I didn't. He was angry with me. He made a voice to me.

"I hung it on him and I never talked to him again. The last time I saw him was at that one million times, about two weeks before that. He was teasing me, kidding. I tried to focus on that because he hung it more on himself…but I didn't hang on people anymore. Be careful with your kids."

According to the documentary, women are frustrated by the lack of information they receive from police. Investigators believe that, as in any case, they retain key details from the public to prevent any potential evidence from tampering with or warning potential suspects.

Mother took the matter into his own hands. Whenever they receive tips on social media or over the phone, they go search. Parrent put down lost posters every day, even if they were removed and the poles were painted. If she drove to a weird-looking black plastic bag, she wondered: Can human remains be found inside?

"I'm not a very religious person, but I'm getting closer to God and I'm not going on this path alone," Palent said. "But it's so painful to relax every day. You'll be very upset. You tell law enforcement, 'We have a tip to see here.' Well, we can't search here because it takes time and time.

A woman's leg was found on a Kern County lake, about 25 miles southwest of Bakersfield, according to Marie Claire. Palent is sure it is Bailey's. It belongs to Shirley Mae Cassel, a 64-year-old Santa Ana resident.

Marie Claire reports that in 2020, the Queen and Bailey were charged with kidnapping, torture and murder. According to the media, investigators believe that the Queen and Bailey took Mika to Matthew van der Castell's garage in 2018 to ask him about the gun. Mica is accused of stealing a gun from the queen.

Bakersfield Californians reported that several people police interviewed knew Mika said he had grown more and more, causing the queen to disappear. Others claimed Mika was in debt for various drugs.

The media noted that police interviewed Vandacasteele while interviewing him during a separate conviction. He claimed that the Queen asked him to use his garage to extract information from Mika. The Queen and Bailey allegedly placed the zipper tie on Mika's arm and Bailey took a knife from the apartment. Afterward, Bayley looked shaky.
