Austria and JJ's Operatic Club Jam'Wasted Love' wins Eurovision

Basel, Switzerland - Austria was crowned as champion at the Eurovision Song Conts on Saturday, the most popular singing contest in the world, defeating Israel's powerful competition and Switzerland On a night full of glitz and charm, first of all is one.

The Austrian song "JJ Wastes Love" (JJ) scored 436 points, combined with votes from audiences and juries from music professionals in each participating country.

JJ is an inversion singer, and this song takes advantage of his impressive vocal series. It begins with a swollen orchestral sound that is done for the dance club.

Despite widespread rumors and high expectations for Celine Dion’s return to school appearance, Canadian stars were unable to participate when he represented Switzerland in 1988. The singer has weakened her recent public appearances due to a stiff syndrome diagnosed. She sent a video message earlier, which aired in Tuesday's semi-finals, saying she "can only play in Eurovision, saying winning the game "has changed life."

Every country participating in the Eurovision competition also votes on the winner, which means that real-world competition and regional alliances spread into the results.

Allies Greece and Cyprus have a long history of giving each other 12 points (most likely) each other, which often meets the booing of the crowd. Only Greece entered the final this year, with Cyprus giving 12 points.

On the other hand, neither Armenia nor Azerbaijan fought in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh battle. This year, Azerbaijan did not enter the finals.

The most divisive contestant in geopoliticality is Israel's Yuval Raphael, whose song "A New Day Will Rise" is about finding hope after a tragedy. Although the song does not mention any specific incidents, Raphael survived a Hamas-led terrorist attack in Israel on October 7, 2023, with about 1,200 people killed and another 250 were taken hostage.

Israel's subsequent attack on Gaza killed more than 53,000 people and brought about 2 million surviving people to the brink of hunger. For many critics, Israel’s inclusion on Eurovision is related to accepting its military campaign, with protesters demanding that Israel be expelled from the game, just like Russia in 2022 after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Raphael's song met with scattered booing and cheers, ranked second with 357 points.

The audience was breathless when other top contenders Switzerland was not awarded to the audience by the public.

The event is Jamboree of Glitz and Showbiz Glamor, fans from across the continent cheering their popular contestants as billions of TV viewers watching and watching parties at home.

Eurovision began in Switzerland in 1956 as a way to test new television technology and help post-war Europe come together. At that time, there were only seven countries in the competition. This year, 37 countries participated, and earlier this week dropped to 26 finalists in two semi-finals. The work now is a behemoth, with hundreds of crew members and 22 cameras capturing the action.

The first performance was Kyle Alessandro, 19-year-old Norwegian, who appeared on stage wearing a chain of mail to enhance his work "Lighter" with fireworks.

His songs kick off a show that included many memorable performances, including those of Finland's Erika Vikman, whose sex "Ich Komme" ended, she hangs in the air from a giant microphone booth to spark a spark.

Poland's Justyna Steczkowska returns to Eurovision after 30 years of "Game of Thrones" inspired performance, the 52-year-old CGI dragon rushes up in the air while rushing against the 8,000 square foot LED video wall behind her.

Last year, about 163 million people watched the European TV final and two semi-finals. The final watch number hasn't competed in this year's competition yet, but it's certainly still one of the most watched events in the world. According to CBS, it attracted more viewers than the Super Bowl, which had 123.4 million viewers last year.

The ratings may see a chart of "waste love" climbing Europe. For some European TV champions, such as Dion and Abba, international stars wait.

Most artists aren't that lucky, but the massive platform means winners can see the level of fame they would have only dreamed of.

Italian rock band Måneskin performed on Saturday Night Live after winning the 2021 competition, with Dutch singer Duncan Laurence singing his 2019 song "Arcade" on NBC's "Today" when it began climbing our rankings after it started airing VIRAL on Tiktok.

For the 25 artists who did not win, it is still hoped that they will find new fans.

Holly-Anne Hull, a member of this year's UK bill, told NBC News last month in a Zoom interview that the result is an opportunity for her group to perform together on the world stage.

“We didn’t even do it for live performances,” she said. “What we dreamed about was a full-time job. ”
