Auburn ranked Tennessee in Game 1. The series ends on Sunday

Smoky rain changed the key weekend series between Auburn and No. 6 Tennessee No. 11.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms plagued the SEC this weekend, including the Auburn series in Knoxville Tennessee No. 6.

Friday's series opener started a few hours later than the original CT start time and was put on hold at the top of the first inning. The Ike Irish pushed Auburn forward with two home runs in the opening frame before heavy rain forced the game to resume Saturday morning. The Irishman and Game 1 starter Samuel Dutton made progress in Game 1, while the second game left fans of both teams on the edge of their seats. However, the double heads could not be completed until heavy rains hit the Knoxville area.

Here is a summary of each game of Saturday's action played by Auburn and Tennessee in Knoxville.

Game 1: Auburn 6 Tennessee 1
