Auburn Baseball and Six Tigers Win All-Through Honors

After the Auburn Tigers on Diamonds received a prolific turnaround, they had six players earned the honors of the All-South Conference as announced by the league office on Monday, the second largest conference representative in the history of the program.

Ike Irish was named a first-tier global outfielder through Peter Rauterkus of Al.com. Samuel Dutton and Chris Rembert won the second full-time honors, the first pitcher and second baseman respectively. Rembert joined the game with Chase Fralick and Bub Terrell of SEC's brand new team, and Eric Guevara received SEC's brand new team honors at third base.

Ireland's left-handed Slugger is the first two-time All-League All-League champion since 2000-01 by Deputy Head Coach Gabe Gross, who ranked second in the league in the average after completing the conference season (.398), benchmark percentage (.480) (.480), slugging percentage (.852), (.852), (.852), (.852), (.852), (.852), (13) and total bases (92) and totals (92). The Irish exploded 13 home runs in the conference game this season, the most since Josh Etheridge did the same Auburn player in 1997.

Dutton moved to Auburn from Baton Rouge and was the first tiger pitcher to receive All Sex honors since Casey Mize in 2018. He recorded 3.58 ERA with 6 wins and 89 strikeouts in 75.1 innings and led the team to 6 wins and 89 strikeouts.

After leading the team with a benchmark percentage of 0.355 and .485, Rembert is the first real freshman to earn first or second-team honors of the all-season since Hunter Morris in 2008 and is one of two freshman job players recognized this season.

Fralick joined Rembert as a brand new team winner, completing the regular season with a batting rate of 0.344 while recording 14 doubles, becoming the Tigers' main catcher.

Another brand new team winner, who won the most Tigers in the league, Terrell averaged .287 while also recording 14 doubles.

Guevara has maintained a hot corner for most of the season and has led the defense of 45 doubles games in the year.

The No.7 Tigers will start the playoffs at the SEC Championship in Hoover on Wednesday as they won the championship in Tuesday night’s game between Mississippi State and Texas A&M.
