Attorney Mark Geragos

Defense attorney Mark Geragos was warned by a judge during a sex trafficking trial in Sean Diddy's comb for calling the prosecutor "six packs of white women."

Geragos, not on Combs’ defense team, works with jury consultants, recently commented on the 2 Angry Men podcast he co-hosted with TMZ founder Mark Levin.

On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian told Geragos in a conversation in his conference hall that he would be listening and watching him to make sure he would not say anything that could interfere with the fair trial.

“I think it’s ridiculous,” Subramanian said. "I think it's outrageous to bring a prosecution in this case to be six packs of white women. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

He added: “You also have a podcast for listeners.”

“I’ll give it all as long as you subscribe,” Geragos replied.

Geragos’ daughter, Teny Geragos, is the legal team of combs and has been a guest on the podcast.

Mark Geragos has expressed his opinion on various topics on the case about "2 Angry Men", including a hotel surveillance video in March 2016 showing a comb beating and dragging his ex-girlfriend Casandra Ventura, who was signed as Cassie's music tag.

Prosecutors said the video was key evidence against a 55-year-old comb who was charged with prostitution by sex trafficking, blackmail and transportation. He pleaded not guilty.

Subramanian rejected the defense's request to withhold video from the evidence. After CNN aired the video last year, Combs publicly apologized, saying his actions were "unforgivable" and that he took full responsibility for his actions.

Geragos described the video as a "character assassination" in the podcast.

On the second day of the trial Tuesday, under review in Manhattan federal court, Subramanian asked Mark Geragos if he was making a recommendation.

Geragos has many high-profile clients, including OJ Simpson, Michael Jackson and Singer Chris Brown, who said he had known combs for years and represented his mother in another case.

“I do talk to him very often,” he said, adding that he used to represent combs.

Glagos also defended his comments, telling the judge: “I think when you have a black man who is being prosecuted, the client feels he is being targeted, and that’s an observation.”

Prosecutors asked Subramanian to remind Geragos and members of the law firm not to make public statements, which could hinder a fair trial.

Christy Slavik, an assistant U.S. attorney for six members of the female prosecutor’s team, outlined concerns about Geragos’ comments in court Tuesday, saying there were millions of subscribers on the podcast and his comments could infect the jury pool.

Subramanian has said he hopes that 12 and 6 members of the jury will alternate by Wednesday, but it seems that it may take until the end of the week.

Many potential jurors said they were aware of the sex trafficking case and watched surveillance videos on CNN.
