Madrid striker Alexander Sørloth eliminated the real Real Sociedad 4-0 on Saturday, part of four goals in the first half of the hour, the earliest hat-trick in Laliga's history.
Norwegian International team had a hat trick after scoring seventh, 10th and 11th minutes at the Madrid Metropolitan Stadium. His hat-trick was four minutes ahead of Edmundo Suárez in 1941 and Carles Bestit in 1929.
"I just had only one goal in those days just landed on my feet," Salot said. "Everything went in, they were good goals for my teammates."
Looking back on his first season with Diego Simeone, he said he was satisfied that he had a more start after an earlier replacement of Juliánálvarez.
"My teammates knew I would be in the box," he said. "They didn't even have to look at it, just crossed it."
Sørloth walked away while shooting from the cross of Pablo Barrios. He hit two shots with a tilted shot inside a distant post, and society was in trouble and fell to Sorloth when Jon Martín's liquidation hit teammate Aritz Elustondo.
With just three-point and third goal just three-pointer, Sørloth's treble is also the fastest in Laliga this century.
Sørloth waited until the half-hour mark, and then he used a touch to control Samuel Lino's pass before defeating goalkeeper Álex Remiro for four goals.
According to ESPN's research, only Edmundo Suárez scored four goals in 20 minutes for Valencia in 1941.
In the second half, he approached his fifth goal when he volleyed from the woodwork.
Sørloth has been playing for society since 2021-23, scoring four goals against Real Madrid last season in Villarreal.
"It's a relief to have such a day," he said. "I was with Villarreal last year. When everything goes on, you feel good inside."
Sørloth joins Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez, being the only player in the Spanish league this century with more than four goals.
Competition looks certainly going to be third. Sociedad ranked 12th and worked hard to finish at least in the Conference League position in coach Imanol Alguacil's final season.
