13-time British top league winner Victors Arsenal continues to seek to win the UEFA Champions League title when they clash with PSG in the first leg of the UAE semifinal.

The Gunners booked their spot in the final four games of the tournament by completely defeating defending champion Real Madrid, winning the quarterfinals 5-1 overall.

PSG's path to the Champions League semifinals is equally impressive. Les Parisiens has aroused one of the biggest interest in the tournament, beating Liverpool in 16 rounds after the team finished a two-leg series tied 1-1.

PSG also fully dominated the domestic Ligue 1 game this season, recording an amazing 30-game winning streak until Friday's 3-1 home defeat with Nice.

Here's what to know before the semi-final opening between two of Europe's most dynamic football clubs:

When will Arsenal and PSG play against each other in the Champions League?

The team last played in a group stage match on October 1st.

Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka's first-half goals allowed Arsenal to beat PSG 2-0 at the Amirates Stadium.

But PSG has made a huge improvement since then, largely due to manager Luis Enrique's decision to reject star forward Ousmane Dembele for discipline reasons - an action inspired a great performance from the French striker.

Who did Arsenal and PSG beat to enter the semifinals?

PSG let Premier League leaders beat Premier League leaders in 16 rounds and won the second leg in the penalty shootout.

They then eliminated another top British club, Aston Villa, in the quarter-final stage, won 5-4 and reached their third Champions League semi-final in five years.

In addition to defeating Real Madrid in that respect, Arsenal also destroyed the Dutch side's PSV Eindhoven 9-3 in total in 16 rounds.

Team News: Arsenal

Manager Mikel Arteta faces some key choice headaches, with the first period replacing major midfielder Thomas Partey, who will play against PSG with a timeout for a game. Mikel Merino was tilted, replacing Gananaian International with Leandro Trossard and entering the frontline of Merino.

In terms of injury, Jorginho was originally the most suitable replacement for the party and was expected to recover from a rib injury and therefore missed Tuesday's game. Defenders Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori both doubted that both recovered from knee injuries.

Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Magalhaes and Takehiro Tomiyasu were eliminated for the rest of the season.

Team News: PSG

With little to happen at the end of the season, PSG manager Luis Enrique's team was not injured in Tuesday's game against Arsenal.

Although the team lost a 30-game winning streak in a 3-1 attitude, Enrique is expected to retain the same Champions League XI, but it may be a relegation of Doue Doue to make room for Bradley Barcola in the midfield.

Mentor-Protegee Manager Battle

Arteta will have to beat one of the most influential figures in his football life to reach the Champions League final.

Standing on his way is a close friend who played a major role in the impressive transition from the court to the canoe of his Spanish compatriots.

Enrique was a senior star in Barcelona when Arteta started playing at Camp Nou, a period that had a significant impact on his management philosophy with Arsenal.

"He is very supportive of the young players. He is one of the main characters so far. I have a very good memory of him," Arteta said.

“My love for him is that no matter where he has been, as a player or a manager, his fingerprints are all over the place.

“You can feel that this is the performance of his team, the way they want to attack and dominate the game.”
