New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Monday attacked the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), calling it X CEO Elon Musk’s “Heil Hitler” Tribute" in defense.
Musk spoke at President Trump's inauguration at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., where he excitedly addressed the audience.
"This is what victory feels like! This is no ordinary victory, this is a fork in the road of human civilization... I just want to say thank you for making this happen, thank you. From my heart to yours," Ma Sk told the raucous crowd of MAGA devotees. The SpaceX CEO put his hand on his chest and extended his hand to the crowd.

Some news outlets and commentators were quick to accuse Musk of giving the Nazi salute. However, the ADL later wrote on X that it believed this was just a warm gesture.

"This is a delicate moment. It's a new day but a lot of people are on edge. The ADL’s mission is to “stop denigration of the Jewish people and ensure justice and fair treatment for all.”
Ocasio-Cortez didn't believe the claim and accused the group of defending the Nazi salute.
"To be clear, you are defending the Heil Hitler salute, which is repeated for emphasis and clarity. People can now officially stop listening to you as any reputable source of information. You work for them. Thank you To do something like this "is clear to everyone," Ocasio-Cortez wrote.
Fox News Digital reached out to the ADL for comment.
ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt has previously criticized Ocasio-Cortez and other 2023 “squad” House members for their extreme stance on the Israel-Gaza war.
"I think Rashida Tlaib has been marginalized in her own district. Like AOC, I don't even see her in the media anymore. I think these people with radical ideas have marginalized themselves Marginalized," Greenblatt said in an interview with Fox News Digital. time.
