A player had a horrible moment in a NFL game after being hospitalized after an on-site incident on Friday night.

Angels City defender Savy King suffered a "medical match" during the team's game against Utah Royals.

King fell in the 74th minute, and on the trolley she took from the field, shaking the other players clearly for about 10 minutes.

The report said that it appears that CPR is managed and uses AED. The game paused for a few minutes to heal the King.

Eventually, she was crammed into the field and after the game, both teams and their staff prayed together.

After the game, the club gave good news.

"After the on-site medical activity, EMS transported Savy to the hospital. She responded quickly and received further evaluation. We appreciate all the attention and support," Angel City said in a statement.

Royals' Alex Loera was asked to lead the two teams to pray, "Of course I'm going to do that."

Alex Loera: "Obviously, Savy King is my true friend. … These moments are always so scary - we all send thoughts and prayers to the family of Savy King," Loera said.

"I'm not sure if we should continue playing... It's a very difficult time," the coach said, adding that a lot of people were "feared".

King, 20, was the second pick in the 2024 NWSL draft and played 18 games for the club. She was traded to Angels City in February and has already started all eight games for the team this season.
