Carlo Ancelotti says he feels "supported" at Real Madrid as he talks to chief executive Jose Angell a week after Real Madrid beat rivals Barcelona 5-2 in the Spanish Super Cup Sanchez met.

ESPN reported that Ancelotti’s talks with Sanchez this week were routine and focused on solving the problems facing Real Madrid this season.

Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo 5-2 in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey on Thursday but survived a comeback from 2-0 down to 2-2, with some spectators at the Santiago Stadium unhappy with Ancelotti and his display. The best player whistles. Bernabeu.

"Obviously, I have a very good relationship with the president (Florentino Pérez), José Ángel Sanchez and the whole club," Ancelotti said after Madrid's meeting with Las Palmas on Saturday. Said this at a press conference before the La Liga game. "I don't have any problems. I have always felt supported since I came here until the day I leave. There are no problems and we will continue to work together and do the best we can."

Madrid have won two trophies this season - the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup - and sit second in La Liga, a point behind leaders Atletico Madrid, but their all-round play has not always impressed. Very impressed with Sunday's game classic The crushing defeat in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was a major setback.

"You always need to improve, learn," Ancelotti said when asked about criticism from fans. "When you think you know everything - that's not the case for me because I like new things, I like to learn. - That's when your level drops.

"I still have a lot to improve. Sometimes we play well and sometimes not well and that's where we have to improve. The performance against Barcelona is my responsibility and the whistle from the crowd is acceptable , is also fair.”

ESPN reports that Real Madrid are looking to strengthen their squad this transfer window and are keen to seal a deal with Liverpool for top target Trent Alexander-Arnold, but Ancelotti would not say whether a January signing would be discussed this week matters.

"I spoke to José Ángel as usual," Ancelotti said. "We talked about everything."

One positive for Real Madrid is the form of Kylian Mbappe, who has scored stunning goals against Barcelona and Celta Vigo.

"I don't know if he's more of a leader, but as the days go by he looks more and more involved on the pitch," Ancelotti said. "I don't think his attitude has changed off the pitch. "He's always available and willing to play, and I think his level is improving with every game."

Atletico coach Diego Simeone was asked about Real Madrid's cup win over Celta Vigo on Friday, which included a controversial refereeing decision not to award a penalty to the visitors.

"I didn't see it, but I was told there was some 'incident'," Simeone said. "This has been happening for 100 years, so I don't know what's surprising."

"These are the things you say for the gallery," Ancelotti retorted. "Everyone in football knows what Real Madrid stands for and has done for 125 years. A few 'thorns' can hurt."
