AFP launched their Action Day along with their $20 million “Protecting the Prosperity” campaign, which conservative advocacy groups call it the largest investment in any external group, dedicated to retaining the tax cuts and jobs bills.
As House Republicans look for alternative ways to offset the cuts in 2017 and ambitious goals to reduce cues, overtime and social security taxes, AFP urges Republicans to offset budget cuts by eliminating former President Joe Biden’s “green new deal giveaway.”

The House Energy and Commerce Committee debated green energy cuts during a long markup hike on Capitol Hill this week as part of the House budget settlement process.
Meanwhile, House Republicans debated the possible increase in taxes as Trump expressed support for a small amount of taxes to fund his “big and beautiful bill.” While rumors have spun among House Republicans for weeks as the White House is raising tax rates on millionaires, Trump confirmed Friday that he will be "if you can."
But as the settlement begins, House Republicans appear to have abandoned their new millionaire tax hikes. The House's Ways and Means Committee released nearly 400 pages of legislation Monday, which excludes tax hikes.

It is no coincidence that AFP will focus on competing areas in Arizona, Iowa, Michigan and Pennsylvania, as the controversial race is expected in 2026.
In Arizona's sixth congressional district, Komani won his home seat in 2022 with more than 50% of the vote. Schweikert won Arizona’s first congressional district with less than 2% of the votes in 2022 and 2024, one of the country’s most expensive housing competitions last year.
Although Hinson won with a bigger profit in Iowa's second congressional district, Democrat Kevin Techau has announced his campaign to make Hinson successful.
