Alijah Arenas is about to take place less than a week after the early morning car accident.
The Arena is a five-star basketball recruit and the son of former NBA star Gilbert Arenas, whose Tesla Cybertruck crashed into a tree and fire hydrant in Los Angeles before 5 a.m. Thursday, April 24.
On the podcast of retired basketball player Jill's stage On Monday, April 28, Josiah Johnson said the young arena is scheduled to be discharged from the hospital soon.
"It's great to announce that Aria's situation is much better," Johnson said. "Walking, talking, progressing well, should be released from the hospital soon. No major harm was caused by the car accident."
After the accident, the arena family thanked the bystanders who were able to rescue 18-year-old Alijah from inside the truck, where he was trapped after the fire and smoke began to penetrate the cabin.
"I remember hearing explosions in the car windows, but I couldn't see anything because the smoke was too thick. That was when I realized someone was inside," according to ESPN. "I tried to break the windows, but I didn't give them to the windows. Then, I saw one of the windows cracked and we used everything to bend it and pull him out. The car caught fire. We just knew we had to drive him out."

Johnson said on a podcast Monday that first responders were in serious condition in transporting the arena to the hospital and he was unconscious as a "precautionary measure due to smoke inhalation."
He added that the teenager (dedicated to playing at USC earlier this year) was returning home at the gym during the accident.
UC head coach Eric Musselman was one of the people who spoke after the horrible incident.
"Please let him, his teammates, friends and family throughout the arena in your prayers," Musselman said.
Alijah is Gilbert Arenas' second-largest child. Gilbert is a three-time NBA All-Star game and spent most of his 12-year career with the Washington Wizards. Gilbert, 43, also shared a daughter Gia with his ex-girlfriend Lindsey Faulk.
