After the big news first appeared on Athlon Sports, the $73 million brother of the NFL star sent a clear message to Georgia.

Georgia Bulldogs are no stranger to the NFL, and the program has been sending stars into the league. Now, Georgia is adding a major four-star recruit and connecting with current NFL stars.

Georgia is currently ranked 5th in the 2026 college football recruitment rankings. SEC Power expects zero value per player to be $248,000. According to ON3, this is second only to the Miami Hurricane’s $251,000 high.

Now, Dawgs are adding Pittsburgh Steelers’ brother star Minkah Fitzpatrick. The five-time professional bowler signed a four-year, $73.6 million contract with the Steelers.

St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) four-star cornerback judge Fitzpatrick took to Instagram to post an announcement graphic produced by On3's Hayes Fawcett. Future Georgia Corner noted that his family’s outstanding record was the reason Dougs fans were excited.
