New York Knicks fans participated in 2000 outside Madison Square Garden, where the Knicks beat the Boston Celtics in Game 6 and took a place in the Eastern Conference Finals.
After the game, a stubborn celebrity fan of the Knicks joined thousands of fans flooding Manhattan streets.
Timothée Chalamet, a court actor and New Yorker throughout the Eastern Conference semifinals, was found celebrating with Knicks fans after the victory.

The “Dune” star appeared near a MSG entrance near 33rd Street when he rolled down from the back window and joined the fan mob. He defeated those who had a bright smile on his face.
Knicks fans have been unable to curb their emotions since 2000, making it to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2000, and it was a shocking ending to put the Celtics on the Celtics 119-81 at their home court, another great chapter in the legendary competition.
The Celtics leaned against the wall after Game 4 when they lost 3-1 in the series, while Jayson Tatum tore Achilles apart to finish his season. Chalamet also laughed after Game 4, and went to Boston to compete in Game 5.
Chalamet was a court in TD Garden, but did not smile at the end of that game after the Celtics won the knockout round, forcing the series back to New York City.

But the roaring crowd of MSG is filled with celebrities, rallying behind the Knicks’ hot start.

Chalamet sat in the sixth match next to music star Bad Bunny, and he also met him with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner and her sister Kendall Jenner. In Game 4. Chalamet was hugging with the bad bunny, jumping around as the Knicks won in the fourth quarter.
Chalamet's Nicks Fandom ran so deep that he skipped the Met Gala with Jenner to watch the first game in Boston. He also made sure to watch the second match in Rome when the couple competed in the David Di Donatello Awards.

Just like in 2000, the Eastern Conference Finals will put the Indiana Pacers against the Knicks.
