Throughout the evening’s speech, the themes of partnership and community were permeated. Chu accepted the A1 scholarship award and recalls GI Joe: Revenge Talk to Rocks in 2013. "How cool is it to see someone who looks like me and someone who looks like you?" Chu recalled Rock's words and pointed out how rare it was to have two AAPI leads on the scene at that time. "Well, we won't beg for delegates anymore," Chu said to the Golden Dinner crowd. “We are not only at the table with guests – we are building a damn house.”

Ang Lee responded to this view because he was honored Squat tiger, hidden dragon. He said: "When I first started in Hollywood, I was very lonely, but now I looked at us. Let's keep going."

Hennessy returned as the “official spirit” of the Gold Gala, with bespoke cocktails designed by LA-based mixologist Ash Miyasaki that paid taxe to Asian flavors and celebratory motifs — think the “Seoul Sparkler” and “Bangkok Blush” with Hennessy VSOP, and the boozy “Night Bloom” with Hennessy XO VIP guests were also invited to experience a special Hennessy Paradis tasting led by the The Hennessy Prestige team, while Stars signed the first ever 3L Hennessy Paradis bottle that will be auctioned to benefit Gold House.

Who is most excited about except .paak? That would be Pikachu, who was on site to commemorate Pokémon CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara's award for the "Golden Legend" of Business and Technology.

House of Gold 2025 Review: A100 List, Photos, Celebrities

This is the third year that Hennessy sponsored the Golden Gala, which the brand calls it a "growing cultural moment." Indeed, a bottle of Hennessy has been part of Asian celebrations, as the spirit of choice for prejudice in Lunar New Year, birthday, wedding and casual gatherings. Hennessy works with designer Phillip Lim every year to host a Lunar New Year dinner in New York, and the brand recently launched a limited edition Lunar New Year collection, with Chinese fashion designers closing QIU in Year of the Snake.

“Hennessy has long been a cultural force advocating those who break barriers and redefine excellence,” Antoine Varlet, senior vice president of Hennessy, told U.S. Rolling stones. “Hennessy and Golden House are committed to supporting AAPI visionary people, artists and entrepreneurs who are shaping the future. As an official spiritual sponsor for the third year, Hennessy is excited to celebrate this unstoppable momentum and respect ambitious ambitions, resilience, resilience and impact.”

Varlet said the brand is committed to promoting and enhancing the Asian American community, not only at the Golden Dinner, but year-round. “Hennessy has a long standing commitment of supporting and empowering diverse communities,” he says, noting that “the brand champions AAPI culture and heritage through key partnerships and philanthropic efforts with APEX for Youth and Heart of Dinner, to our collaboration with Phillip Lim, to Unfinished Business, an initiative the brand launched in 2020 to help Black, Asian, and Latinx owned small businesses with financial and educational resources, as they face unprecedented challenges of Covid-19 No. 199.”

He said: “Hennessy is proud to focus on Asian American culture beyond New Year and AAPI Heritage Month.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Asian Americans are the fastest-growing racial group in the United States, doubling their population from 2000 to 2019. In a press release, Gold House said this reflects this in Asia's growth in both off-screen and off-screen representation, although the work is still being done.

The A100 list spells out the profound cultural imprint of the Asian Pacific community,” said Bing Chen and Jeremy Tran, CEO and COO of Gold House. “With this year’s winners, we celebrate more than just achievements, we fulfilled the courage to be the first step for us without a clear solution, to be the first step for us all and to bring forward all of us. ”

Laufey, an Icelandic singer and lyricist who performed at the Golden Dinner, summed up more personally: “I rarely grew up as a representative of Asia,” she said. "I want to be a singer, but I don't look like anyone, the only Asian representative I see is my mother. Never underestimate how much work you are doing," she said to the crowd of Asian artists and business leaders. "There may be a little girl in Iceland looking at you and saying, 'Wow."
