A man reportedly found death in the walls of kangaroos and kangaroos, with multiple blunt force injuries, and there was reportedly a "history" of entering the space of one of the animals.
The man was identified by officials as 52-year-old Eric Slate - a relative of the animal owner.
According to Fox Carolina, he was killed Friday night in a fatal encounter, a 5-star farm at the South Carolina Footing Zoo, about 30 miles from Myrtle Beach.
Horry County Councilman Mark Causey told News13 that the animal believed to have caused Slater's death has not been euthanized.

According to its website, this 5-star farm petting zoo (the activity listed on its website for over 15 years) has animals such as camels, ponies, camels and more.

"The animal hasn't gotten rid of his safe shell," Robert Slate, owner of 5 Star Farm, wrote on Facebook. "At the moment, we do ask for respect and support for the family."

The Horry County Police Department said an investigation is underway and an autopsy is ordered.

"There are many other animals at the site of the incident," Horry County police said in a Facebook post. "All animals are explained and included, and there is no risk given to the community."

The Horry County Police Department, the Horry County Coroner’s Office and the 5-star Farm did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News numbers.
