3 missing girls died in Washington state; father suspected of killing them is very big

The Washington State father was wanted for murder after the report disappeared and then found dead.

On Tuesday, police Travis Decker, 32, sought help from the public in search of the girl's father, the Winachi Police Department said.

Police said in a press release that it is not clear whether the former military members are armed.

Police said the girls' mothers - identified by CBS affiliate Kiro-TV as 9-year-old Paityn, 8-year-old Evelyn and 5-year-old Olivia - reported to police on Friday that their fathers did not return to them after a planned visit.

Last weekend, police searched for the kids and Decker, who is believed to have lived with Washington plates on his 2017 GMC Sierra Pickup truck.

Police said Decker's vacant truck was located near the campground on Monday. During the search, the officer found the bodies of three girls.

Start looking for Decker.

Anyone who may have seen Decker since Friday or knows his current location is asked to call 911.

"Do not try to contact or approach Decker due to security issues," police said.

In an exclusive interview with Kiro-TV, the woman's mother Whitney Decker said there had never been any problems with her past visits with Travis Decker.

According to documents applying for custody intervention, Whitney and Travis have been married for seven years but have been divorced for several years. She told Kiro-TV that the divorce was civil.

Kiro-TV reported, citing a court application that at the end of the marriage, he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and Whitney did not think he was taking any medications. Travis Decker was supposed to seek mental health treatment and anger management consultation under a parenting program, court documents show.

The girls are Lincoln Elementary School students, Wenatchee School District said. Children and staff who need support provide consulting services.

“In order for our students, faculty and families to provide the space and privacy they need to mourn and start rehabilitation, we would like to ask you not to come to the school campus, except for the formal school business,” the district said.
