With the regular season over, the 2025 Wpial Hockey Playoff is coming.
The two boys team and four girls Beaver Valley programs are competing in their respective fields.
This is what you need to know before the first round begins on May 12th.
The Wpial Hockey Championship was held at the Joe Walton Stadium at Robert Morris University, and over the past seven years, the 2020 Joe Walton Stadium was excluded in 2020 due to the 1920 pandemic. This year, the championship game will be held at Upper St. Clair High School from May 21 to 22.
Mars captured its league record's eighth boys lacrosse title, defeating South Fayette 16-5. The Championship game dates back to 2016 in the past eight seasons, and the team has won the Class 2A title in the past eight seasons. It will be second in the 2A class.
Mount Lebanon won the sixth WPIAL title and defeated North Allegheny 15-10 for the second time. It will enter as the number one seed in Level 3A.
Mars won the second consecutive WPIAL title and the third defeat of the Chartiers Valley 14-6. It is the first choice for the 2A class this season.
Lebanese mother won the league sixth Women's WPIAL title in a 16-11 victory over Pine-Richland after finishing runner-up in three seasons.

As Sevikley Academy and Quaker Valley will run in the playoffs, two teams from Beaver Valley are from Beaver Valley.
Sevikley Academy (10-2, 8-2 2A-II) ranked strong in the regular season, third in the Hampton third and Mars 2.
It averages 11.3 goals per game, enough to rank fourth in its section while allowing 5.8 goals, fourth in the 2A class. Sewickley Academy will host Chartiers Valley (6-9, 6-5 2A-I) at 6 p.m., where he ranks fifth in his department and wins the title in the category.
Quaker Valley (9-4, 6-4 2A-II) entered the playoffs and entered the final playoffs of the quarter, with an average of 10.8 goals per game and 8.2 goals per game.
It will face Bethel Park (11-7, 8-3 2a-i) at 7 p.m., which ranks fourth in its section with 7.2 goals per game and second in the quarter.

The Blackhawks (12-2, 8-2 2A-II) is the highest seed in the Class 2A Beaver Valley after integrating an impressive season under interim head coach Mark Kinger.
The team averaged 14.1 goals per game, ranked second in WPIAL 2A and third in its region, with the only loss in the season against top seeds Mars and Chartiers Valley No. 3.
Blackhawk received his first round goodbye and will host the Trinity and Hampton champions in the quarterfinals on May 14.
Quaker Valley (8-4, 6-4 2A-II) is Beaver Valley's second team, ranking fifth in the 2A-level match, with an average of just 4.4 goals, while goalkeeper Emily Reiner is second in Net and second in the category.
It will host an Indiana (10-5, 7-3 2A-I) team in the first round at 7 p.m., finishing third with three-pointers in its section.
Sewickley Academy (8-5, 5-5 2A-II) is the last team from the Class 2A Beaver Valley, with an average of 10.7 goals and 10.5 goals in the section.
The team will face an enemy at 7 p.m. in South Fayette (12-6, 7-3), and Sevikley Academy throws the game to the only meeting of the season on April 3.

The Moon Zone (12-4, 7-1 3A-II) brought the team back to the first year of the playoffs under head coach Mackenzie Bell and received his first round goodbye.
The team averaged 12.1 goals and 6.6 goals per game as it only dropped to top seed Pine-Richland on April 28 with a 14-8 record. It faced Nowin in the regular season in the regular season with a 12-6 12-6 on March 17.
