While there will be no triple-winning title this season, Saturday’s 157th campaign at Belmont Bet is indeed the winner of the Kentucky Derby, while Prekness Bet, Sovereignty and Journalism. Those two thoroughbreds and six other horses will compete for the winner's share in the $2,000,000 wallet.
Journalism (8-5) is a current favorite of sovereignty (2-1) and Baeza (4-1) and has also attracted a lot of attention, but in this eight-horse field, speed and potential speed are also radiating. Hill Road won the local prep match, Peter Pan's bet, Rodriguez won the Wood Memorial and Crudo won the 2025 Sir Barton Stakes. Everyone can challenge favorites for everyone.
However, a strong view of the closed horse as Belmont’s favorite horse often pays. Favorite Belmont won 66 times, accounting for 42.6% of the 156 final jewellery in the Triple Crown series.
Belmont Park is undergoing renovations, so the third Horse-Racing Triple Crown Jewelry will be held at the Saratoga Springs, New York for the second consecutive year. Changes in locations also mean changes in distances to bets on Belmont. Saratoga is usually the longest race in the 1.5-mile Triple Crown race, meaning the second consecutive year and the eighth time in race history to enter the 1.25-mile "sprint" of the world's top thoroughbreds.
