13 Best TVs We've Reviewed, Plus Purchase Recommendations (2025)

There are a lot of good TVs that we can't add them all to our top list. These are some tempting options, lacking layoffs.

Sony Bravia 7: The Bravia 7 (7/10, wired recommendation) is a gorgeous display that provides bright brightness, natural colors and Suave Finesse in subtle details. Its biggest knock is poorer external axle viewing, which can be difficult to swallow at its high price. Otherwise, it's worth considering for Sony's glowing fans, especially since Sony seems to have more freedom to discount its best QLED TV than the OLED model.

TCL QM7K (2025) - I have a real love/hate relationship with QM7K. As part of TCL's new precise scheduling series, its black levels and contrast extend toward OLED heights, matching solid brightness and negligible light appearing in certain spectacular moments. It includes gaming features such as the updated game bar and dual HDMI 2.1 ports, as well as other features such as Dolby Vision HDR. question? My comment model's colors are weird, including green colors for featured black and grayscale content that pop up all the time from title to title. After weeks of waiting, TCL now says the issue has been identified and the firmware update is coming, so I will retest the TV if it arrives. Until then, you can bet on its excellent other skills, or get something from our top list.

TCL Q6 (2024): This affordable model of TCL has some of the most impressive highlights I've seen on cheap TV without fantasizing about the local dimness. I really like the effect of the color, especially when watching modern classics dune or Mad Max's Rage. The built-in Google interface makes streaming and casting a breeze, and TCL's history is to make long-lasting medium-priced screens, so you don't have to buy too much.

Samsung S95C: The S95C (8/10, wired recommendation) is still a great choice. This may even be a better option for those who don't want or need a matte screen in the 2024 model. It is still one of the best OLED TVs you can buy, especially given its very easy to use sale price.

Samsung QN90C: Samsung's QN90C (8/10, Wired recommended) is still one of our favorite bright room TVs. It comes in a wide variety of sizes, offering bright and colorful pictures and lots of goodies, especially tempting on large giants.

TCL QM7: There is only one thing that will keep the beautifully balanced QM7 (6/10, wired review) away from our main list: Software failures. In my comment, I went through a problem that adjusted the SDR backlight level to affect HDR, which could lead to severe brightness limits. Although TCL solved the issue in firmware updates for me, it was not extensive. Most people may not have this problem, so the QM7 is still worth considering, but the broader OTA firmware update has not arrived yet.
