"100 Nights Heroes" sold to Cannes Independent Film Company

Independent Films have been awarded the rights to "100 Nights of Heroes" in North America, a ensemble fairy tale romance starring Emma Corrin, Nicholas Galitzine, Maika Monroe, Amir El-Masry, Charli XCX, Richard E. Grant and Felicity Jones.

Julia Jackman has written and directed the adaptation of Isabel Greenberg's best-selling graphic novel "One Hundred Nights".

"With the 100 Nights heroes, Julia Jackman has produced a lush and provocative fairy tale that fights wit, romance and danger," said Scott Shooman, head of IFC Entertainment Group. "With a great cast and spark of rebellion, this movie is exactly the kind of bold filmmaking we espouse. We can't wait to share it on the big screen."

The film will receive extensive theatrical release later this year. "100 Night Heroes" follows a woman named Cherry (Monroe) who ignores her husband's departure after putting a secret bet to test her loyalty. Cherry, along with her keen maid, the hero (Corrin), must stand up to the seductive tourist of danger: Manfred (Galitzine).

"It has been a long-term dream since I first picked up the gorgeous graphic novel of Isabel Greenberg," Jackman said. "It's such a fun to shape my world and characters into something new, and I'm so happy to have found a home in an independent film company. I can't wait to share it with a wider audience, a leadership of the extraordinary talents of our amazing ensemble cast."

Producers Stephanie Aspin, Helen Simmons and Grant S.

Colin recently starred in The Crown, Deadpool and Wolverine and Nosferatu. Galitzine is titled “Red, White and Royal Blue,” “Your Thoughts,” and the upcoming “Master of the Universe.” Monroe has been with "Langus and "Follow". El-Masry's honors include "Limbo" and "Zero Club". Charli XCX is the first to succeed in her 2004 album "Brat". Grant is an Oscar nominee "Can you forgive me?" Jones was nominated for the Academy Award for his performances in "Every Theory" and "Barbarism."

Aspin and Simmons made “Heroes of 100 Nights” for Erebus Pictures, and Johnson made the movie for Infinity Project.
