Most apps work fine, but intensive apps like video and photo editing services can have difficulties. I mainly use multiple Chrome browser windows and tabs, with the Telegram Messaging client on the left at the top. I even started Zoom and placed it to the right in the video call. I gave Adobe Lightroom Classic a shot, but the app started to behave strangely in SpaceTop so I didn't use it. Sightful says just as much on its website: “We are still working on getting advanced applications like video editor or 3D Graphics software to run smoothly.” The game also belongs to that camp.
No one can view your work, which is great for handling sensitive information, and the only way to surround that information on a traditional laptop is to use a privacy screen. Currently, the laptop screen stays on it when you enter SpaceTop, but people can only see the blank desktop. Sightful says it is planning an update that shuts it down to save battery life.
Speaking of which, I haven't used the HP Omnibook Ultra Flip as a regular laptop, so I can't confirm its regular battery statistics, but HP claims “all-day battery life” and various comments about this laptop around the network seem to confirm this. However, with the AR glasses plugged in and running Spacetop, you're more likely to get about three to four hours of use, depending on your work. Within an hour and a half, the laptop's battery life is cut in half.
I don't think this is a huge problem because in most cases you may be in a short time in a coffee shop or airport lounge or heck, even on a plane (there is a travel mode that allows you to use the span in terms of fast moving transportation.

Most of the things that make Spacetop a fun are glasses. The text is pretty sharp through the dual OLED display panel, although I want the glasses to have a field of view over 50 degrees. More importantly, this is not a bulky Apple Vision Pro, I sat for three hours at a time, I wore Xreal glasses, and I couldn't imagine doing this with Apple's VR headsets. Please note that my eyes were indeed a little tired during that time, but it wasn't a chore for me to take it off. It's like taking off ordinary glasses. I wouldn't be upset with the rest of the world, either – the speakers built into the arms of the glasses allow you to avoid earplugs – the entire system is easier to carry around and comes with a glasses case.
