Trump's first wave of policy focus will focus on issues he emphasized during the presidential campaign, including border security, energy, curbing inflation and ending the federal government's DEI programs.
A senior administration official familiar with the executive actions and authorized to brief Fox News Digital said Trump will end “catch and release” of illegal immigrants on day one; suspend all offshore wind leasing; end electric vehicles authorization; repealing the so-called Green New Deal; withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement; and taking several major steps to maintain presidential control of the federal bureaucracy.
