Trump announces more than $200 billion in deals with UAE

Boeing and General Electric received a promise from Etihad Airways to invest $14.5 billion to buy 28 US-MADE-MADE-MADE-BOEING 787 and 777x aircraft powered by GE engines, the White House said Thursday.
“With its fleet's next-generation 777X planned, investment deepens a long-term commercial aviation partnership between the UAE and the United States, fuels U.S. manufacturing and drives exports,” the White House said.
Atihad CEO Antonoaldo Neves said last month that the airline plans to add 20 to 22 new aircraft to its fleet of about 100 aircraft this year, as it aims to expand Abu Dhabi's economic diversification strategy to more than 170 aircraft.
