I think there is a big statement at the end of the first round playoff series between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets, and there is a good chance of making a big statement in the NBA.
This is one of the most interesting first round series, listed 1-1 at the time of writing. There are many reasons to be interested in the battle between the Rockets and the Warriors – history, tensions between teams, defensive matchups, personal questions between players. However, the composition of the lineup was interesting to me.
On the Warriors' side, your dynasty team is still Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, who are the backbone of this Warrior era. This season, they added Jimmy Butler to the trade deadline. Again, Golden State has at least two (arguably) top 20 players and is reluctant to help lead with inexperienced players.
On one side of the Rockets is a set of ragtags, a super competitive turnover. No matter who is on the list, it's hard to find a Rockets player who is listed as the top 50 players. Maybe some of them are underrated, but that's what makes it interesting.
There is a belief around the NBA that if you want to win and win, you have to have top talent. But if Houston can upend Gold State in the first round of the year, it will add another layer of content to the conversation about what it needs to be an NBA contender.
What if you have a deep team full of passion, enthusiasm and perseverance? If the sum of the parts – a group of real, very good handsome guys might be better than the Big Three?
Of course, if the Warriors win, you can trust the top talent a team needs to win a more specific victory in the playoffs.
Of course, either way this is, the failed party will use damage as an excuse or warning for the series. But I do think that this series has a chance to solidify the main NBA philosophy, or go back and forth in a new way.

“I wish it was faster. I don't want to think about this anymore…we'll be ready. We just punch holes in our mouths and you have to respond. You can't turn over. You can't complain. Like I said, I wish the game was earlier. I hope we can respond earlier.transparent – Christian Braun lost to the Clippers after Game 3
