The band shares the date of Samula Slide 360 running
Big Thief will be on the road this fall, and the band announced the first leg of their Summera Slideshow 360 Tour.
The 20-year-old run started on Channel 24 in Sacramento, California on September 17 and developed on the White Oak Hall lawn in Houston on November 7. The tour includes stops in Mexico City, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas and Austin, as well as previous performances in the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and New York City.
Tickets for all new events will be available at 10 a.m. local time on May 9. Complete information can be found on the Big Thief website.
Big Thief has largely deviated from the journey since 2023, except for the main thief last summer Longxin Warm Mountain I believe in you.
However, last summer was indeed a major change for the band as they parted ways with bassist Max Oleartchik in July 2024. Without sharing the specific reasons for the split, the band simply said: “This change is due to relationship reasons and respects each other in our hearts.”
Since its release Longxin Warm Mountain I believe in youBig Thief released some songs, including a studio version of the live favorite “Vampire Empire”. In February, they fell Distort relationshipsThis is a five-track EP that mainly contains previously unreleased songs Longxinshan (EP CLOSER, “Shadow is also Shadow” is a 2018 demo). Big Thief said they will donate most of the proceeds to the Los Angeles wildfires.
Most importantly, Big Thief singer/guitarist Adrianne Lenker released a new album, A bright futurelast March and live albums Living in the Revolution HallApril this year. Guitarist Buck Meek and drummer James Krivchenia both gave up on their solo albums in 2023 and 2025 respectively.
