Lincoln Financial Field has hosted home games for the Philadelphia Eagles for more than two decades.

During this time, the football stadium at the South Philadelphia Sports Center was known as one of the most difficult places in the NFL for opposing teams to visit. Eagles fans often flock to what locals affectionately call “The Link,” creating a buzzing atmosphere.

But during Sunday's wild-card round game against the Green Bay Packers, an Eagles fan mercilessly berated a woman wearing Packers gear.

Video emerged on social media showing an unidentified male fan wearing a green Eagles jacket making vicious comments to Packers fans seated in the upper levels of the stadium.

At one point, the man appears to call the woman a “sucker.”

“What's it like to go to Philly just to cheer for your team…” one social media user captioned a video that showed at least part of the uncomfortable exchange. “For no reason, for no reason. Packers chirping, help me find this guy… This isn't going to work.”

As of Monday afternoon, the video had been viewed more than 18 million times on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Another man in the video tells Eagles fans to stop insulting the women, to which the attacker responds: “She's an ugly, stupid woman. What do you want? Fuck, get up and watch the game.”

The woman who caused visible anxiety among Eagles fans remained largely calm throughout the video. However, she did make a “shush” gesture at one point.

It's unclear if the Eagles fan will receive any punishment from the team.

The Eagles are awaiting the results of Monday night's game between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams. Due to ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles area, the game was moved to Glendale, Arizona. The winner of the final game of the wild-card round will travel to Philadelphia this weekend to face the Eagles in the divisional round.
