Members on knees are charged with terror

A member of the Irish language hip-hop group KNEECAP has been charged with terrorism and allegedly displayed a flag in a London show in support of the forbidden group Hezbollah.
Liam 27-year-old Liam horgógó was charged by Metropolitan police after an incident occurred at the O2 forum in Kent town, London on November 21, 2024.
Mr Hannaidh, who performed under Mo Chara, will appear in Westminster District Court on Wednesday, June 18.
Officials from the Metropolitan Counter-Terrorism Command realized in an online video of this event on April 22.
Belfast man Mr. Hornard was charged with the name of Liam O'Hanna.
An investigation was conducted, leading to a charge of authorization for the royal prosecution service.
Earlier this month, the Metropolitan Museum said it would allegedly investigate online videos showing the group calling on British MPs to die and shouting “Hamas, Hezbollah”.
Hamas and Hezbollah are both banned in the UK and showing support to them is a crime.
Hezbollah is a Shiite Muslim political and military group in Lebanon, involved in a series of violent conflicts.
Kneecap said they never supported Hamas or Hezbollah and would not incite violence against any individual. They said the video in question was out of context.
Since the video appears, many performance bands have been cancelled.
They are currently scheduled for the headline New Wake Festival in Brockwell Park, south London on Friday.

Kneecap is an Irish-talking rap three who faced controversy with provocative lyrics and merchandise.
The group was founded in 2017 by three friends, who were founded under the stage names of Mo Chara, MóglaíBap and DjPróvaí.
Their reputation inspired a semi-fiction film starring Oscar-nominated actor Michael Fassbender.
The film won the British Film Academy Award (BAFTA) in February 2025.
In April, the group faced criticism and commercial consequences after information about the Gaza war held at the American music festival Coachella last month.
Their sponsor and booking agents Independent Artists Group (IAG) and former X-factor judge Sharon Osbourne called for the revocation of Kneecap's U.S. work visa.
After that, the footage appears from previous shows, an investigation by anti-terrorism officials.
Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch shared one of the videos and re-criticized the Labor government's resolution of the legal case raised by the group last year.
This is related to the decision made by Badenoch when he served as minister to withdraw his art grant.
