    The film was produced by Dharma Productions by polybrained Karan Johar. IT stars Ishaan Khatter (“The Perfect Couple”), Janhvi Kapoor (“Devara Part 1”) and Vishal Jethwa (“Tiger 3”).

    In this film, desperate to get rid of the weight of marginalized identities, two childhood friends from North Indian villages, Shoaib Ali (Khatter) and Chandan Kumar (Jethwa) (Jethwa) – pushing the world stacked with them.     “Home-Bound” was co-produced by Mélita Toscandu Plantier, who also produced Ghaywan's “Masaan”, which debuted in Cannes in 2015 and won the Avenir and Fipresci awards in uncertain sight.

    “I saw Neeraj’s first film ‘Masaan’ in 2015 and I loved it, so when Mélita Toscandu Plantier sent me the project for his second film, I was curious. I loved the story, culture and was willing to help. Neeraj contributed a lot to Indian cinema in a beautiful film. I was a contribution to Indian Cinema for one of his Instagram stories.

    Scorsese is no stranger to Indian Cinema, the world film project of the Film Foundation, created by him to restore Indian classics – the most recent 1977 “Ghatashraddha” bowed at the Venice Classic last year.
