Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman played a tough game against the New York Yankees in Sunday’s first doubles game.

Gossman allowed six runs, walked five shots and was eliminated in the middle of the third inning of 53. When he returned to the canoe, Gossman was popped out of the game by home plate referee Chris Conroy. In the canoe, the heated senior pitcher overflows the overflowing steps from the clubhouse.

    A bad day everywhere.

“When I left the mound, I kind of let him know that I was going to see something bad inside,” Gossman told reporters after the game.

“I know there are probably at least three innings,” he said. “The more frustrating thing is what you're looking at (Yankees starter Max Freid) gets. He's going down, so why would you call him if you don't call me?”

Blue Jays manager John Schneider later joined him as he argued about Vladimir Guerrero's strike.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, Gausman's 53 innings is the eighth inning against the Milwaukee Brewers on July 1, 2022, from Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Cam Vieaux in the eighth inning against the Milwaukee Brewers, the most anyone has in one inning.

The two-time All-Star team scored a 3.16 ERA against the Yankees. Once his outing is over, it surges to 4.50.
